We would love to share your story of recovery! We firmly believe that telling your story is healing for you and helpful for others walking this long road with you.
We have two ways for you to share your story with us: your own original essay or answering guided questions.
Choose which works best for you! We are thrilled to share your words either way.
Please submit an original, previously unpublished essay of 800-1000 words. You might write about hitting rock bottom, the early days of recovery, what sober tools helped you the most, a certain moment that stands out to you in your recovery, how your faith impacted your recovery. The content of your story is up to you.
Maybe writing an essay is not for you. Our Guided Questions are the perfect way to share your story. Choose the questions you want. You don’t have to answer each question.
Share as much of your journey as you wish. Use your first name, your full name or remain anonymous. Everyone’s recovery story is different and we want you to feel comfortable.
Please include an author bio, social links if desired, and a photo to use as the featured image. We prefer a photo of you but you may include one that represents your story. You must have legal rights to any picture you submit.

Every story we post is another chance to end the stigma and shame of addiction. Please add your voice to this important movement! You never know who might read it and be blessed by your words.
